Responsible, practical progress
Sustainability
We consider environmental and social impact alongside the safety, reliability and compliance expected from professional security services.
Our Position
Protecting people and property should go hand in hand with looking after the world they share.
This page sets out the areas iSecure intends to consider. We want to be clear about the difference between what we intend to do and what we can evidence, so we only publish achievements that have been verified.
Security comes first. Any environmental improvement must remain compatible with legal duties, client requirements, officer safety and dependable delivery.

Why It Matters In Security
Travel
Officers, supervisors and patrols travel to sites every day, so rostering and routes have a real impact.
Materials
Uniforms, equipment, paperwork and cleaning products all have a footprint of their own.
People
A security company is its people. How they are treated matters as much as what they deliver.
Clients
More organisations now ask suppliers about sustainability during tenders and reviews.
Four Areas Of Focus
The right priorities depend on the contract, location and operational realities.

Operations
Review travel, materials, energy use and waste where decisions sit within our operational control.

Service Design
Consider environmental impact alongside safety, reliability and client requirements.

People
Make practical awareness part of how teams understand agreed procedures.

Supply Chain
Consider responsible purchasing and supplier choices where relevant information is available.
In More Detail

Travel And Efficiency
Security and cleaning services involve people travelling to sites. We intend to consider how rostering, route planning and local deployment can reduce unnecessary journeys.

Reducing Waste
We intend to look at where materials, paperwork and consumables can be reduced, reused or disposed of more responsibly, including moving paper records to digital ones where that works.

Responsible Procurement
We intend to consider environmental and ethical standards when choosing suppliers, where relevant information is available.
Our Progress
We show where each area stands, so that intentions are never mistaken for results. Items move to In Place only when there is evidence behind them.

In A Client Conversation
Requirements should be understood alongside the operating model, risk profile and reporting needs. These are useful questions to start with.
- Which sustainability requirements are mandatory?
- What operational data is available and who owns it?
- Where can waste or travel be reduced safely?
- How should agreed actions and evidence be reviewed?
