Whistle Blowing

iSecure encourages employees, contractors and other stakeholders to raise genuine concerns about wrongdoing safely and responsibly.

Purpose

This page explains how concerns about wrongdoing can be raised and how they will be handled. It supports our commitment to acting lawfully and with integrity, and it should be read alongside the Protected Disclosures Act 2014, as amended.

Who this applies to

This applies to employees, former employees, contractors, agency workers, suppliers and others who acquire information about wrongdoing through their work with iSecure.

Concerns you can raise

You can raise a concern about suspected wrongdoing, including:

  • Criminal activity, fraud or corruption
  • Serious health and safety risks
  • Failure to comply with a legal obligation
  • Environmental harm
  • Misuse of company funds or resources
  • Attempts to conceal any of the above

How to report

Raise the concern with your manager or another appropriate senior contact. Where that is not suitable, use the confidential contact route provided internally, or contact us through the website and mark the communication confidential.

Protection and confidentiality

Reports made in good faith will be treated seriously. Information will be shared only where necessary to assess or investigate the concern, subject to legal requirements. Nobody should suffer penalisation for raising a genuine concern.

Investigation

Concerns will be acknowledged, assessed and investigated proportionately. Where appropriate, the person who raised the concern will be kept informed. Deliberately false or malicious reports may be addressed under applicable procedures.

External reporting

In certain circumstances, the law allows concerns to be raised with a prescribed person or other external body. Independent advice is available from your own legal adviser.
